Info sull'evento
DZO JONGO WEST
Embark on an exhilarating adventure in the Markha Valley, Ladakh’s most sought-after trek! With the majestic Mt. Kang Yatze dominating the skyline for most of the journey, just a short distance away lies the lesser-known gem, Dzo Jongo, waiting for us to conquer it. This climb is an exciting challenge that doesn't demand advanced climbing skills, but it does call for great endurance and top-notch cardio fitness. While familiarity with mountaineering equipment is beneficial, don't worry—those skills will be taught during the trip! At Nimaling, standing tall at 4750m, where the real excitement begins, brace yourself for cold and windy conditions. This spot, serving as the grazing grounds for all the cattle in the Markha Valley, transforms into a bustling hub with a large parachute tent shelter for trekkers during the summer. If you’ve tackled some tough treks and have at least one small climb under your belt, this is the perfect opportunity to elevate your trekking game!
