Lying in the Banjar Valley, all hidden, this place is the perfect weekend getaway. Over here, not only you will be surrounded with meadows in summers or snow during the winters, depending on the weather of Jibhi, but you can also experience hikes and history all at the same time.


It is also the perfect place to chill! You want to do nothing but just read a book besides the banks of the river, then Jibhi is for you. The place is surrounded with greenery and when you are here you will instantly feel at peace once you walk through the forest ground soaking in the environment.

Day 0

Start from Delhi. Board a bus/cab from Majnu ka Tila (5-6 PM).


Day 1

Reach Jibhi 


You reach Jibhi and take some time to adjust to the climate and go on small walks locally.


Day 2

Explore local areas


Trek to mini Thailand and visit some beautiful nearby cafes to make your holiday not only memorable but also delicious.


Mini Thailand is a rock pool formed by an outlet of the Tirthan river that flows into a gathering of boulders and has crystal clear waters. You can wade in there, have a picnic on the banks and take some amazing photos and videos.


Day 3

Drive to Jalori and camping (10,800 feet)


The winding road is very soothing and you see the bright alpine greenness of the valley. The pass has a Jalori Mata Mandir, which you may visit if you wish. There are also a couple of dhabas and shops for refreshment.


Day 4

Morning trek to Serolsar lake


Seruvalsar (also called Serolsar) Lake is a high altitude lake in the Seraj Valley of the Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, India. The lake is about 3,100 metres above the sea level and is surrounded by thick forest cover. Seruvalsar Lake is accessible via Jalori pass.

Relax in camp


Day 5

Morning trek to Raghupur Fort. 


The Raghupur Fort offers a 360 degree valley view that stretches as far as the Dhauladhar ranges. The walk to Raghupur Fort passes through a lovely forest (oak and rhododendron) has spectacular views of the mountains


Board a cab from Jalori and come back to Hotel.


Day 6

Visit Jibhi waterfall and explore local market


Take some time off for local shopping.


Day 7

Relax and chill in hotel


After the adventures of the previous day, today is a well earned rest-day.


Day 8

Board a cab/bus from Jibhi in the evening and reach Delhi

Reach Delhi

What to Carry?

Mandatory Carry

  1. No matter when you visit, a heavy jacket will be required.

  2. Carry a backpack of capacity 45 litre or above.

  3. For a trip between November and February, you must bring in heavy woolens along with a warm and windproof jacket. Ensure that your jacket has a hood to protect your head and neck.

  4. If not, then pack a cap as well. Gloves and woolen socks too will be needed in these months.

  5. Do not forget your water bottles - carry at least 2 litre bottle

  6. Polythene / Ziplock waterproof covers to protect electronics

  7. Waste Bag (you can bring anything that you can use to carry your waste)

  8. Odomos (for insects and mosquitos)
