Day 2: Hassan
After leaving Bangalore, we visit Belur Chennakeshava Temple.a Hoysala Dynasty Temple,built by Hoysala King Vishnuvardhan . This temple is constructed in Star Shaped architecture,which is a very common pattern followed in the Hoysala Architecture.
We also visit Halebeedu, which is a few kilometers away from Belur, which is again built by the Hoysala Dynasty .It is also an example for the beautiful architecture of Hoysala style of architecture.
Shravanabelagola is famous for the Bahubali Statue which is supposed to be the tallest monolithic stone statue in the world with a height of 58 feet carved out of a single block of granite. The Gomateswara temple is built on top of a hill at an altitude of 3347 feet, called as Vindhyagiri hill (also known as Doddabetta or Indragiri). About 620 steps provide access to this temple from the bottom of the hill. The nude statue of Bahubali is carved carefully with much perfection.
Day 3: Mysore
We visit Jaganmohana Palace, The Jaganmohan Palace was converted into a magnificent art gallery and today hosts some of the most exquisite pieces of artwork for the public to see.Mimicking the beautiful art that is housed within, the architecture of Jaganmohan Palace is intricate and detailed beautifully. The main door is a beautiful example of the typical Hindu style of architecture.
Post lunch we visit the Amba Vilas Palace or the famous Mysore Palace which is located in the heart of the city. Mysore Palace is one of the most visited monuments in India. And it's one of the largest palaces in the country, also known as Amba Vilas Palace, was the residence of the Wodeyar Maharaja's of the Mysore state.The palace complex has a selection of twelve Hindu temples.The erstwhile Royal family continues to live in a portion of the Palace.A silhouette of the Mysore Palace illuminated with 98,260 bulbs, shimmering against an inky black night is one of the most enduring images of the city. Mysore Palace is the venue for the famous Mysore Dasara Festival, during which leading artists perform on a stage set up in the palace grounds. On the tenth day of the festival Vijaya Dashami, a parade with caparisoned elephants and other floats originates from the palace grounds.
We relax in the garden of the Palace to witness the sound and Light Show, which unveils the magnificent history of the Vijanagara / Wodeyar Dynasty . The palace gets beautifully illuminated at the end of the light and sound show.

Day 4: Mysore
Today We visit the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is a paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers, spread across a small area of 0.67 sq km. Located on the banks of River Cauvery, this bird paradise is the preferred nesting ground for the resident birds as well as migratory species from Europe, Americas and Siberia. Go boating on the river, get a fascinating view of the various species of birds, and catch a glimpse of the marsh crocodiles in the water at this avian haven.
After boating and enjoying the bird watching, we reach Kabini Safari Park, Check in and enjoy scrumptious lunch . Relax and get ready for the Safari inside the Nagarahole National Park. Our Naturalists showing and sharing the experiences and information about the jungle and the animals living there. Nagarahole National PArk is the home for Bengal Tiger, Indian Leopard, Sloth Bear, Striped Hyena and large varieties of birds.
After safari return back to the Kabini Safari Park and stay overnight.
Day 5: Kabini Safari Park, Wayanad
Enjoy morning Boat Ride inCruise through the serene backwaters of the River Kabini on a motor boat viewing sleepy crocodiles and chirpy birds, intent on their morning catch. View a variety of wildlife, especially the elephants, coming to the river for a bath or a drink.
After Brunch, checkout from the accommodation, and reach Wayanad.
This evening is for complete relaxation while one can roam around in the streets of Wayanad, shop for some aromatic spices and handmade artifacts from the local market.

Day 6: Edakkal Caves, Thrissur
It's a trekking day . Early Morning we start towards Edakkal caves . Edakkal caves are famous for its pictorial paintings (cave paintings), which are considered to be of 6000 B C.The trekking route is covered with coffee plantations and it takes around 45 minutes to climb up the hills. The views of Wayanad hills and surrounding peaks from the entrance of the main cave are breathtaking.
After the Edakkal Cave Visit, We head towards Thrissur, Stay Overnight.
Day 7: Athirapally Waterfalls, Kochi, Alleppy
Today we start early to visit Athirapally falls. It is set at the entrance of the Sholayar ranges and is often nicknamed as the Niagara Falls of India. The very sight of this waterfall refreshes and rejuvenates an onlooker’s body and soul. Flowing through the Vazhachal Forest toward the Arabian Sea, the waterfall cascades along offering the most bewitching sights you have ever seen in your lifetime. Combined with the greenery, it infuses freshness into any tired soul.
Reach Kochi for Lunch .Post Lunch Visit Kerala Kathakali Centre,a centre that imparts training in various styles of performance arts, as well as supports new-found talent.Daily shows, all the year round, you will have the chance to experience this and much more, including the soul-stirring Carnatic music and the deadly martial arts, Kalaripayattu.
Reach Allepy to stay in the very famous, soothing and relaxing Boat House Accommodation.
Day 8: Alleppy
Today is the rest day . One can relax in the Boat House or enjoy the views around the back waters. Ayurvedic massages are also very soothing and give a calm relaxing feel for those tired souls.
Day 9: Kovalam Beach, Kanyakumari
After checking out from the Boat House, We travel to Kanyakumari. Enroute Visit Kovalam Beach .Relax in the cool breeze of the Sea. Post Lunch start towards the southern tip of India, Kanyakumari.
The sunrise and sunset at Kanyakumari is one of its kind.Kanyakumari is the southernmost point of peninsular India and the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Besides its importance as a Hindu pilgrim center, it is famous for its beautiful views of sunrise and sunset over the waters. The multicolored sand is a unique feature of the beach here. The The country’s southernmost tip of Kanyakumari, got yet another tourism attraction, the “Bharat Mata Temple Kanyakumari” or “Bharat Maatha Sadhanam”.
Vivekananda Rock Memorial – An iconic monument, the Vivekananda Rock Memorial consists of two main structures. An exciting ferry ride takes the visitors to the small rock island.

Day 10: Madurai, Tanjore
Today we visit Madurai Meenakshi Temple.The Meenakshi Temple in Madurai is one of the best examples of Dravidian architecture that exists in southern India. Dravidian architecture is one of the most common forms of Hindu architecture, typically including tall entry gate towers, covered porches over the temples, two or more sides, multiple-pillared halls, a water tank, or a water reservoir for ritualistic bathing, etc.
After some local artifact shopping, we travel and reach Tanjore
Day 11: Tanjore, Cuddalore, Pondicherry
Today we visit the Tanjore Brihadeeswara Temple or Big temple as one of the Oldest World’s Heritage. They nest the marvel under the “Great Living Chola Temples''. Airavateeswarar Temple and the Gangaikonda Cholapuram Temple in Tamil Nadu were also declared as one of the greatest heritage monuments.
The temple is built up to a height of 216 feet and the temple is carved out of granite stones which weigh about 130,000 tons. The wonderful aspect about this temple architecture is the technology used behind it. The entire temple is made by the method of interlocking stones, in which one rock is kept over the other without using the joint mortars and in some cases, they have used lime mortar for binding of rock pieces. The vast foundation of the temple is made without excavating thUNESCO e earth with a single grain of sand and yet the temple stands in its position and hence it is named as Big Temple. The temple is made with absolute zero degree inclination which makes the temple stand straight for more than 1000 years.
After some shopping of the local artifacts, we reach Cuddalore Beach to relax and enjoy the sunset. Reach Accomodation at Pondicherry.
Day 12: Pondicherry
Today is a relaxing day . We visit spiritually calm and relaxing Auroville in Pondicherry, shopping from the local market and spend time roaming around in the streets adjacent to the Bay bengal. Cool breeze from the sea relaxes the mind . Overnight stay at Pondicherry.
Day 13: Chennai, End of Tour
After a memorable tour of the southern part of India it's time to head back home from Chennai.
